We’ve all heard of regular, feminized and autoflower seeds, but what’s the actual difference?

Regular seeds are exactly that, the result of male pollen falling on a female flower and forming a seed. These seeds can produce plant that are male or female.

Feminized seeds are seeds created by using pollen from a hermaphroditic plant that can result in hermaphrodites or female plants but not males.

Autoflowering plants are those that will flower based on their age, rather than the photoperiod, or hours of light they get per day. Autoflowers are made by crossing in cannabis ruderalis genetics into a normal sativa, indica or hybrid.
