Another throwback to the nineties today. Northern Lights stands above all others as possibly the most famous strain of all time. A pure Indica that is covered with resinous buds, a quick growing turn around and a sturdy plant to boot.

It came to us from Afghani and Thai landraces and is the parentage to many of your favourite strains, like Sour Diesel and Super Lemon Haze. It originated in the Netherlands with Sensi Seeds back in 1985.

When you smoke Northern Lights, you get these spicy aromas that come from the crystal looking bud structure, which often have a purple phenotype these days. It’s a body hitting strain, relaxing you and your muscles, and was known to cause some significant couch lock back in the day.

If you’re looking for a pure indica that gives you a bit of nostalgia, you can do a lot worse than Northern Lights, a firm favourite forever.
