Marijuana tourism is about to get its first fully fledged resort in Colorado. The MaryJane Group Inc has announced that it plans to open the resort after signing a lease to launch ‘Camp Bud + Breakfast’.
The resort will be placed in the mountains west of Denver, in a small town called Parshall. It will cover 414 acres and will include everything from fly fishing, river tubing and yoga, to of course, recreational marijuana.
“There truly is no place like this in the entire world,” said Joel Schneider, CEO of The MaryJane Group. Schneider will also be the lead operator of the up and coming cannabis resort.
Camp Bud + Breakfast is basically a summer camp for adults where you can get high all the time.
“We’re bringing an element of luxury to that adventurous, exploratory vibe of childhood summer camp in a beautiful setting where visitors can enjoy marijuana in a safe, comfortable, social environment,” said Schneider.
The resort will have a cannabis to your door service that will make recommendations and sell to the visitors to the resort. The resort has paired up with dispensaries to offer premium bud and dispensary tours.
You can smoke pretty much anywhere you want on the resort, making it different from pretty much every other hotel in Colorado, as the law prohibits smoking in public places.
Camp Bud+Breakfast will build communal spaces where people can smoke, each room will also come with a private deck where people are free to light up.
The resort is due to open from 1 July 2016 and reservations can be made today.
